An attractive antique sterling silver sovereign case.

Made from solid silver, it has a plain high polished finish with a monogrammed engraving to the front.

The letters are a fancy script and are CM or MC.

A very well made piece with a nice weight to it, it has an integral bow which is also stamped for silver.

The sovereign case is fully hallmarked for Birmingham Assay Office, 1903, Aaron Lufkin Dennison, which later became the popular Dennison watch case makers.

Shown in the images with a later vintage silver snake link chain, this will be included with the sovereign case but you can easily swap this for a nice longuard chain or one of our antique Albert chains available in the shop to buy separately.

Condition:
Very Good used condition overall, some light rubbing of the marks and general surface wear, commensurate with age.

Total weight 30.32 grams.

Approx measurements:
Chain - 14" total length
Length - 2" with bow
Width - 1"
Depth - 0.75"
