An attractive antique, 1910s, sterling silver fob.

It is shaped like a Maltese cross with elaborately engraved and cut out features, the cartouche to the centre is enclosed by a belt and buckle design, better known as the order of the garter, one of the highest symbols and honours of chivalry at the time.

A nice heavy fob with a decorative design and a blank cartouche to the centre which could be personalised if desired.

The reverse is engraved with P.S.A.A 1914.

It has a large sterling silver jump ring, stamped with the lion passant, so can be attached to your favourite Albert chain or necklace.

Fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay office, sterling silver, 1914, Robert Pringle and Sons.

Condition:
Very Good used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, aged patina.
