An interesting antique, Victorian era hairwork long chain.
Made from tightly woven brown hair it has 9ct gold sections and caps and a 9ct gold dog clip fastener to the bottom for hanging a pendant or pocket / fob watch.
A mourning piece, usually made with shorter lengths this one has a good length to it, the ideal piece for a mourning locket or pendant.
English make, Victorian era c1880s
Condition:
Good used condition overall, missing one gold section and a little glue residue visible.
