A sweet little 9ct yellow gold Signet ring.
Despite its smaller size it is quite chunky and has a lovely rich glow, the square face has not been engraved so could be personalised if desired to make a great gift.
These look great worn as pinky rings too and this one has decorative engraved shoulders and a smooth band.
Signet rings derive their name from the Latin for signature, they were popular throughout history in men's jewellery and were often carved with family crests or signatures and used as stamps or intaglios, later they remained popular as a fashion choice and they have remained a popular piece of mens jewellery since their creation.
