A very rare, novelty, antique sterling silver tobacco tin or box.

It has been designed as an empty can, very realistically detailed and similar in size to a regular food can.

It has a lift off lid, also in sterling silver with a miniature phenolic Amber pipe mounted to the lid for lifting it off.

This is a table top piece, designed to be displayed in all its glory, it is a showstopper piece and is meant to be seen.

It would be a perfect piece to store your blend of the day.

The front has been engraved with a message; G.D.E.T from G.H.W, 16th August 1911.

The tin and the inner of the lid are both fully hallmarked for London, 1903, makers mark is worn.

Approx measurements:
4" height
9.25" circumference
Weighs Approx 183 grams.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age, hallmarks worn on the outer, there is one deep ding to the side, not penetrated, see photos.
