A beautiful and rare antique 9ct gold seal fob pendant.
This is such an unusual piece and very symbolic, the fob is designed as a pair of peace doves nestling with one another amongst foliate, leaning on one another and is crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold.
The fob was created in the middle of the WW1 era so the symbolism of peace here is even more poignant.
The matrix of the fob is an unusual domed bloodstone cabochon.
A very fine and detailed piece, makes a perfect pendant or Albert chain fob.
Fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham assay office 1916
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
Approx measurements:
0.75" height / length
0.75" width at the base
