Antique Edwardian Amethyst paste fly brooch

A gorgeous antique Edwardian era, Amethyst and diamond paste fly brooch.

The fly is crafted in white metal and set with pretty paste stones from white to purple, it is mounted on a three bar brooch with a single purple paste set at one end.

It is a white metal but is not silver, it has a closed c type clasp and was once gilded but this gilding has worn away.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, light aged patina, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some surface scratches, gilding worn away completely.
