A stunning antique French engraved and etched glass dressing table box or pot.
A large circular box with gadrooned sides and a beautiful, finely done image to the top of the lid of a piper and an angel surrounding a beautiful classic maiden.
Possibly Baccarat, pre etched company mark, it bears artists initials etched into the lower part of the image R. S.
A truly beautiful and unique piece ideal for the dressing table, could be used as a powder pot or to store small trinkets / jewellery items.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall some wear and nibbles to the inner rim, minor surface wear.
Approx measurements:
