A charming late 19th century Russian enamel egg.
It is a two tone guilloche enamel of a peachy orange with gold undertones.
It opens up to form a bonbonniere or patch box.
Very nice enamelling with some firing defects and built around the underlying copper structure, it has small tabs to easily open it.
Overall good condition, some firing defects as mentioned.
Approx 3" length, 2" width and 1¾" depth.
