A very handsome antique, early Victorian era oak smokers cabinet.
Very well made, it is a heavy substantial piece cut from fine pieces of nicely grained oak with a dark finish.
Internally it has a double sided pipe rack, one rack either side of the cabinet at the top and space in between for a tobacco jar.
There is a draw underneath with a decorative gilt finial knop.
Under the drawer there is a further space for storage.
It has a brass catch at the side, previously had a lock but this was removed, early on in its life.
The door has an attractive bevelled glass panel so you can see inside the cabinet.
English make, c1850s/60s

Very good used condition overall, very light surface wear, a little patina, no key, lock removed, small chip to the wood frame lower front.
