A very sweet little antique finger prayer book.

Slim miniature size, the perfect pocket prayer book, it has deep, deep red leather covers with gilt lettering, published by Henry Frowde, Oxford.

It is titled The Book of Common prayer.

Title page gives more information as follows: And administration of Holy Communion according to the use of the Church of England: together with the Psalter or Psalms of David pointed as they are to be sung or said in Churches; but without The Calendar, The Occasional Services, and the articles of Religion.

Undated but early Edwardian era c1900 - 1905

It has gilt page edges and dark black paper pastedowns to the front and back.

Good used condition overall, some age commensurate wear to the covers, a little thumbing to the pages, back cover slightly loose from spine, age commensurate page tanning.

Approx 3.5" length, 1.25" width and 0.5" depth.
