An attractive antique, Edwardian era sterling silver Albert chain or watch chain.

Nice solid silver, graduated curb links with a dog clip fastener to one end with a Victorian silver and chalcedony propelling pencil fob attached.

The pencil has a seal top and an all over engraving but it does not function any longer as a pencil so is just a decorative piece for the chain.

The chain is made from sterling silver and each link is stamped with the lion passant for silver.

A lovely watch chain, the perfect piece for displaying your favourite pocket watch.

It is a shorter length so unlikely to work as a necklace or choker but nice and heavy.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, overall patina and age commensurate surface wear, some rubbing to the marks, the pencil is nonfunctional.

Total weight 48.47 grams.

Approx measurements:
Chain - 13" total length
Pencil - 2" length
T-bar 1.5" width

Links 8.8mm width at the widest point
