A sweet antique 9ct yellow gold compass pendant set with a Carnelian fob.
This lovely little gilded working compass is set into a fancy 9ct gold frame with twisted wirework and loop detailing.
The reverse is set with a smooth rich red Carnelian, this has not been engraved so could be personalised with initials or a crest.
The compass has blue steel hands and appears to be in working order but I can't vouch for accuracy.
It is fully hallmarked for Chester Assay office, 9ct gold, maker William John Pellow, date mark worn c1905
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some surface wear / scratches commensurate with age, the seam is slightly apart on the gold frame and can be seen, loops with dings.
Approx measurements:
1.10" length
0.95" width
0.25" depth
Weight approx 5.14 grams.
