A stunning antique, Victorian 9ct yellow gold, fancy link swag chain, necklace.
Stunning boxy fancy links in rich yellow gold, terminating in two engraved finials, this was once a three strand gold albertina chain that has an added 9ct gold, antique rolo link section added to make it into this gorgeous gold swag necklace.
This chain simply has everything you could wish for in an antique chain, solid links, the long length and a nice weight.
A stunning chain that really stands out, it is both elegant and bold.

Marked 9c, tests as 9ct gold throughout.
No fasteners this chain passes over the head.
Late Victorian era, c1890s, made up later into a single necklace from two similar aged components.

Good used condition overall, some minor surface wear commensurate with age, a conversion piece made up from two similarly aged pieces.
