An exceptionally beautiful Victorian era Austro-Hungarian Cross pendant.

It is a large openwork design cross adorned with tiny turquoise forget me not flowers, each flower consisting of five turquoise cabochons and a tiny seed pearl to the centre.

The top of the cross at the join features a four point star like motif and this, the bale and ends of the cross are all set with creamy seed pearl.

This is a larger pendant made from 750 silver with gilt washed edges.

It is marked to the loop attaching the bale with Austro-Hungarian marks for 750 silver, the lions head, Vienna, c1880s.

The turquoise have a lovely vibrant colour range with natural pyrite veining.

A Very well made, beautiful piece.

Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some tiny chips to some of the turquoise stones, wear to the gilding.
