This antique Georgian era black dot paste cluster ring is delicately charming.
It is a conversion piece, the black dot paste, floral shaped cluster hailing from the Georgian era is set into cool sterling silver, likely converted from a brooch or a lace pin.
It has been added to a 9ct gold antique band ring to make the prettiest ring.
The cluster has an elongated floral design and it works well with the smooth plain gold band to produce a real dazzler.
The gold has a warm rosey glow to it.
A lovely ring to add to your collection, this would also make a sweet gift and the plain band could be engraved if desired.
Marks and era:
Paste cluster is unmarked, tests as sterling silver, Georgian era c1790s, the band is later c1900s stamped 9ct.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear and signs of use.
