A charming antique Victorian mourning ring conversion.
Originally converted from a brooch or lace pin this beautiful piece has been made into a ring, the 9ct gold early Victorian setting mounted onto a 9ct yellow gold band.
The face has a central glazed panel with a convex glazing, enclosing a lock of plaited brown hair.
It is stamped to the band 9ct, and the setting tests as 9ct.
A charming mourning ring with stacks of character and an unusual piece.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear and signs of use, slight solder lines seen on the brooch edges and scuffs to the glazed panel.

Total weight 2.94 grams
Approx 12.7mm length ring face and 18mm width with a 1.7mm band width.
