Antique Scottish agate and Silver Thistle brooch, Victorian

A beautiful antique Scottish agate and sterling silver Thistle brooch.

A lobed circular shaped silver brooch with light engraving set with half moon panels of wonderful grey Montrose agates.

The centre of the brooch features a silver Thistle flower, very well designed and set to the top with a Cairnorgm citrine paste stone.

Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, C1880s.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, a few tiny dings moreso on the reverse.
