A very attractive antique sterling silver cheroot case complete with the original cheroot holder.
A handsome engine turned silver case with a push top lid, hallmarked to the side with an integral silver jump ring for attaching to an Albert chain (or wearing as a pendant).
Enclosed within is the original yellow phenolic cheroot holder and this has a 9ct yellow gold rim, stamped 9ct.
A beautiful piece of antique tobacciana, this would also make a very nice gift.
Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1919, sterling silver, Makers mark for Vale and St John.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use, some very light surface wear, a few small nibbles to the mouthpiece of the cheroot holder.
Approx measurements cased:
3" in length,
2" circumference at the widest point
Weighs collectively 10.85 grams.
