A fine and rare antique silver locket brooch.

This fantastic piece is engraved in the aesthetic manner with foliage and a belt and buckle, the belt / buckle symbolises holding one close.

Probably given as a token of love.

It is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, 1910, maker William S Holmes, it also has Registered design number.

Good used condition overall, some general signs of use and wear, surface marks / scratches commensurate with age, the silver beads have tiny holes in the top but this is a result of the manufacturing process.
