A beautiful antique, late Victorian era mourning ring
It has a domed bombe shape face set with an array of creamy pearls to form a star shape in the centre.
The ring has decorative cut out shoulders and a smooth tapering gold band.
To the verso there is a glazed panel with a small silk round, this can be removed to store a small lock of hair or tiny memento
It appears to have been enamelled at some stage with some remnants very slightly visible around the star motif, could be re-enamelled if desired but I like the rustic gold finish.
Unmarked, tests as 15ct gold.

Good condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, textured ground to the domed shape face
