Antique Swallow and Shamrock brooch, pin, Boxed

A beautiful antique Edwardian era Swallow and Shamrock or clover brooch.

It is a small dainty piece, very delicate but big on symbolism.

The brooch has an 18ct rolled gold pin mount with a sterling silver Swallow in flight carrying a lucky shamrock.

The bird is set with tiny seed pearls and the shamrock is set with emerald green paste.

It comes in the original antique box.

Could be worn many ways including as a tie or lapel pin.

Marked on the reverse of the pin, 18ct rolled gold.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age.
