A beautiful antique, late Victorian Ruby and Diamond ring in 18ct yellow gold.
This beautiful ring is a boat head style ring with a gemstone set face.
It is set to the centre with an oval cut Ruby with diamond chips either side and a further two rubies, the central Ruby is approx 0.31ct and the diamond weight is approx 0.10ct total.
The rubies have a pinkish red hue and the gold has that lovely rich old tone to it found only on antique pieces.
It has decorative chevron engraved shoulders and a smooth 18ct yellow gold band.
The ring is fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Birmingham assay office, date letter worn but c1870s
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, has been resized, marks are worn but mostly visible.
Ring face Approx 5mm length.
