A beautifully chunky and heavy antique sterling silver Albert chain or watch chain.
Nice graduated curb links each marked with the lion passant for sterling silver, a longer length Albert, suitable for carrying heavier pocket watches, late Victorian era.
The watch chain comes with a decorative sterling silver fob, bright cut engraved with a cut out detailing and shield shaped cartouche, small floral / rose decoration to one side, the fob has been engraved in the past but this has worn so it could be engraved over, a very detailed fob.
The chain has a replacement dog clip fastener which is brass.
A very attractive and substantial Victorian watch chain.
