A gorgeous antique, Victorian era sterling silver mariner link chain necklace.
A lovely chunky link chain with a rich old silver tone, it is hollow so is not too heavy on the neck.
It fastens with a large Victorian silver spring ring fastener, this is a little stiff and needs to be pushed closed rather than springing back.
The chain is Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, English make C1880s.
Perfect for adding your favourite Victorian locket or pendant, shown in the final image with one of our Victorian silver lockets for illustration purposes, the listing is for the chain only and lockets can be purchased separately in the shop.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some Links with wear commensurate with age, some small dings and surface marks, spring ring fastener does not spring back.
