An attractive and elaborate antique sterling silver fob pendant.
A larger fob with a good weight to it, it is a shield shaped piece with a chased, engraved cut out border and a thistle type design to the top.
The fob has a large silver jump ring attached which is stamped with the lion passant, ready for hanging from your favourite necklace or Albert chain.
It is engraved to the front with the initials FH and the reverse is engraved Gymnastics won by Florence Hill 1899.
Fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, 1897, maker Herbert Bushell.
These fobs look great alone or as a collection on a nice chunky chain.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, aged patina.
Total weight 11.02 grams.
