A beautiful antique Victorian era silver collar necklace and locket.
Definitely one of the more unique combinations I have seen and much harder to find.
The collar necklace is a gas pipe type necklace with slightly expanding links and a concealed clasp.
The locked is a work of art, it is a large sized locket, oval shaped with a lightly brushed finish, it is embellished with a small silver floral spray, the leaves textured with the finest little details.
One side within the locket is set to hold a picture or keepsake and has the original glazed panel.
A tremendous piece in a hard to find style, unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1890s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear and patina commensurate with age, small ding in the chain but very hard to notice
Approx measurements:
Locket - 2.5" height with bale / 1.5" width
Chain - 17.5" length and approx 9mm thick when laid flat.
Locket and chain weighs approx 41 grams combined.
