A beautiful vintage Art Deco era Bohemian garnet bead necklace.
Rich and deep red garnet beads, all delicately hand shaped and tightly knotted onto a thick cotton thread.
The beads are all imperfectly round being hand crafted and the time and patience gone into creating this piece is evident.
The garnets are a good size, approx 7.4 mm beads and rather heavy giving a huge total ct weight of the garnets, that is a lot of gemstone and you can feel you are wearing this necklace.
The necklace has a delicate 10k yellow gold filigree clasp, Marked 10k on the hook.
A classic and timeless look with the added rich dark look of the bohemian garnets.
USA made, c1930s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, some light surface wear on the beads, the clasp is very light and delicate in comparison to the weight of the necklace.

19" total length
Beads approx 7mm to 7.6mm
