This beautiful vintage wreath brooch by Cropp and Farr is a real stunner, with the deep yellow Citrine and the rich 9ct yellow gold, this brooch really gives me a lovely warm feeling.
It is nicely designed as a circular shaped wreath with gold leaves intercepted by bezel set warm yellow citrine stones
The stones are a round cut with large tables and just the right amount of facets to give a twinkle on movement, with a total estimated weight of 1.46ct that's a lot of gemmy goodness in this delicate brooch.
It fastens with a gold pin and c clasp fastener.
A very versatile and pretty brooch by a renowned vintage jewellers.
Marks and era:
Fully hallmarked for 9ct, Birmingham assay office, 1953, maker Cropp and Farr, Mid-century era.
Approx measurements:
1.25" width
1.25" height at the widest point
Weighs approx 4.35 grams
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, light surface wear.
