A fantastic vintage, retro era, c1940s Synthetic colour change sapphire ring in 14ct yellow gold.
This ring is all about the centre stone, it is a faceted round mixed cut gemstone with a hint of sparkle from the facets.
The stone has some gorgeous tones in different lights ranging from indigo to warm purple.
It has a smooth rich 14ct yellow gold band with a light D profile, tapering from the setting and the stone is claw set into a scrolling raised mount.
Unmarked tests as 14ct gold, c1940s, Mid century retro.
A pretty piece, ready to be enjoyed once again.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some general surface wear commensurate with age, some light nibbles to the stone facets and surface, some small nicks to the band.
