A magnificent vintage French Cicada pendant and French jet Bead necklace.
This is a substantial heavy piece made from carved stone with a matte finish to the front and a high shine polish to the reverse.
It is attached to a black cord and strung with French jet circular beads, one bead is picked out with Egyptian lettering in gilt.
The necklace has a long length and it is a definite statement piece.
Made in France in the Egyptian revival manner, late 20th century c1980s.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, surface wear commensurate with age.
Approx measurements:
3" length pendant
1.5" width pendant
24.5" length necklace
