A beautiful vintage sterling silver Birds and heart brooch by renowned silversmiths H&H deMatteo.
It is a medium large sized brooch with a cut out heart design, within the large heart there is scrolling foliate and two birds sitting upon branches, to the top there is a smaller solid heart, signifying love birds.
Very well made with lots of attention to detail, marked on the reverse with the brand name and Sterling Silver.
It has a safety catch style pin fastener.
Approx 1.5" width and 1" height.
Condition:
Good condition overall, some signs of use and ageing, light surface wear and patina
