A beautiful antique, Art Nouveau era brooch pendant.
This pretty and universal jewellery piece can be worn as either a pendant or a brooch.
It has a circular openwork design with tiny seed pearl set flowers set around a vibrant central round cut Amethyst stone.
The Amethyst is bordered with a halo of tiny creamy seed pearls to create a larger flower to the centre.
It is marked on the reverse but this is worn and tests as 9ct gold, Art Nouveau era, C1900s.
It comes in an antique jewellery box, possibly not original but it was housed within, the box shows a lot of wear and ageing.
The brooch pin is base metal.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, minor surface wear to the stone.
Approx measurements:
0.94" length
0.81" width
Weight approx 2.23 grams.
