This Antique Georgian Cross pendant is just mesmerising.
A truly stunning and fine piece of antique jewellery, Georgian era, it exudes that rich mystical sparkle that you can only find in Georgian pieces.
It is a Cross pendant,crafted in sterling silver and set with rich deep purple almandine garnets, carefully cut to make up the body of the cross.
To the centre there is a magnificent twinkling, sparkling white old cut diamond with approx 0.40ct weight estimated within the setting.
The cross has a 9ct yellow gold bale with a flat cut almandine garnet collet set, this may be a later addition but is from the same era.
This is an unbelievably beautiful piece of antique Georgian jewellery and would make a wonderful gift!
Shown in the images on an antique gold longuard chain, this does not cr with the pendant and the listing is for the pendant only, chains are available to purchase separately in the shop.
Marks and era:
Georgian era, early 19th century c1800s, unmarked tests as sterling silver and 9ct gold.
Condition:
Good used condition overall with signs of wear and use, commensurate with age, some light surface wear, tiny nibbles to the facet edges.
Approx measurements:

4.65 grams weight
