An attractive antique, Victorian era, sterling silver Albert chain or watch chain.
Nice chunky graduated curb links with a dog clip fastener to one end and a sterling silver t bar.
The chain has a short extension with an antique George IV 1826 silver shilling coin attached.
The chain is made from sterling silver and each link is stamped with the lion passant for sterling silver, the t bar and dog clip are also marked.
A lovely chunky chain, the perfect piece for displaying your favourite pocket watch or wearing as a necklace depending on the length.

A very heavy and well made Albert chain, a nice earlier chain.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, overall patina and age commensurate surface wear, some rubbing of the marks and significant wear to the coin with one side rubbed heavily and one almost completely.
Total weight 61.38 grams.
