Vintage Nautilus shell pendant, 9ct gold

A wonderful and whimsical Nautilus shell pendant.

It is made from a real shell with a lacquered coat giving it an extra sheen and iridescent finish along with strengthening the piece for wear.

It has a 9ct gold rim around the base and also to the top where there is a 9ct gold bale fitted so the piece is ready to be hung from your favourite chain necklace.

Could also be a great addition to a coastal or nautical themed charm necklace or neckmess.

A mid century piece it was likely a tourist piece or souvenir bought back home from travels as a keepsake or a gift.

Unmarked tests as 9ct gold to top and bale, c1950s, mid century

Good used condition overall, light surface wear, commensurate with age., very well kept.
