A beautiful antique, late Victorian era sterling silver long belcher link chain necklace with a silver horse head and bloodstone seal fob pendant.
Paired together this makes the most amazing antique necklace, attractive chunky oval belcher links with a dog clip fastener and the magnificent seal fob as a pendant.
The chain is a nice long length.
The seal fob is intricately modelled as the head of a horse with realistic features and detailing, it is set to the base with a dark green bloodstone matrix, this has not been carved so could be personalised if desired.
A curious and interesting piece of antique jewellery.
The chain is Unmarked, tests as sterling silver c1890s, the fob is fully hallmarked, marks are worn but it is marked for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, 1900.
A rare and unusual seal fob.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some Links with wear and minor dings commensurate with age, some tarnish, silver plated jump ring to one end is a replacement, marks are rubbed and worn.
