A beautiful antique sterling silver snuff box by Deakin and Francis.
Edwardian era it has a beautiful shaped edge with a heavily chased and engraved design, all over engraving of scrolling foliage.
To the centre there is an oval cartouche monogrammed with AEA in fancy script.
It is a heavy box, gilt wash internally and fully hallmarked to the inner rim and short hallmark to the inner side of the lid.
Birmingham, 1904, Deakin and Francis.
Beautifully designed, impeccably made a very good antique silver snuff box.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, light surface wear, wear to the gilt wash inside, small nick to the top near the monogram.
