An attractive vintage sterling silver and enamel fob pendant.
It is an interestingly shaped piece with a central enamelled design in rich blue and red, highlighting a Fleur de Lis and a lion.
It reads Lancaster Dis. League, 1902 - 3.
The fob has no jump ring attached but one could be added ready for hanging from your favourite necklace or Albert chain.
These fobs look great alone or as a collection on a nice chunky chain.
It is quite weighty for a smaller fob very solid.
Marks and era:
Fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham Assay office 1902, maker Fattorini and Sons.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, lots of aged patina, minor enamel loss, lots of surface nicks and scratches to the silver.
Total weight 12.66 grams.
Approx measurements:
1.60" fob length with bale
1.05" fob width
