A beautiful antique, Victorian, aesthetic era bangle.
Engraved front with a central image of a swallow, the swallow was steeped in sentiment often meaning safe return or safe journey.
It has beading to the top and bottom at the front and engraved geometric patterns.
The reverse is a smooth brushed finish and the bangle is hinged with a slightly oval shape.
It is silver plated copper with brass hinges.
It is unmarked, English make C1880s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, tiny ding to the reverse some minor areas of wear to the plating, hinge can be a little stiff.
Approx measurements:
7.25" inner circumference
7.5" outer circumference
1" height / width
