An interesting and handsome vintage Garnet solitaire ring.
It has a rich yellow gold mount with a single prong set cushion cut Garnet.
The ring has a decorative and elaborate face with short bifurcated shoulders and a smooth band.
The ring mount is older than the stone and the stone has been replace with a more modern vintage Garnet.
It makes for a great pinky ring and has a mid-high profile from the finger.
Marks and era:
Unmarked, electronically tests as 9ct gold, c1930s
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear and signs of use, stone is a later replacement, stone has surface wear and scratches.
