A sweet antique, Victorian era mourning ring.
So full of sentiment, these Mourning rings have tonnes of symbolism, the buckle traditionally signifying holding someone close so a great fit for a Mourning piece.
9ct yellow gold, it is heavily engraved with the front of the ring is engraved EMW, we have another mourning buckle ring in the shop from the same family.
The engraving on this one is very well executed, it has a lot of wear and has been well used, it has a had multiple resizes and this can be seen on the engraving and the band.
A lovely sweet piece with lots still give.
Marks and era:
It is fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, hallmarks worn and distorted due to resizing.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, surface wear commensurate with age and use, multiple resizes evident, engraving worn, resizes are visible to the band
