A gorgeous antique 9ct gold, fancy link Albert chain.
It has lovely fancy rich solid gold links with a very slight rosey tones, the links are two different types with an interlocking bar and square links joined with faceted rolos, such a gorgeous and detailed design.
The chain has a 9ct gold swivel fob currently attached set with a dark red Carnelian and on the other side bloodstone, fob not to be included in purchase.
It fastens with two dog clip fasteners, both marked.
Perfect for showcasing your favourite antique pocket or fob watch or wearing as a necklace.
It has had a later 9ct yellow gold safety chain added.
The chain is Unmarked tests as 9ct gold, late Victorian era, c1900, the dog clips are both marked and the fob is fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham assay office, 1908.
A very lovely piece, this would make a beautiful gift for someone Special or as a treat for yourself!
Good used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, general signs of use.
