Antique 9ct gold Swan brooch, garnet, gold pin

A beautiful and highly detailed antique Swan bar brooch.

A rich 9ct yellow gold bar mounted with a pretty textured gold Swan.

The Swan is engraved and textured giving a realistic look to the feathers and sits as if swimming on the water, wings tucked, it has a tiny cabochon garnet eye.

This brooch has a gold pin and c type clasp fastener and is marked 9ct to the bar, English make, c1910s

It is a versatile piece that could be worn a multitude of ways from a tie pin to a brooch so would make an excellent choice for gifting.
