A super sweet pair of dainty antique 9ct gold horseshoe earrings.

They are dangly earrings, the little horseshoes suspended from an ear wire fitting.

A pair for good luck, horseshoes facing down were said to pour good luck out and into there surroundings, in this case on the wearer!

Horseshoes pointing up were also a good luck symbol especially when placed above a door or entry as they were said to catch good luck and prevent evil from entering.

This sweet little pair are very lightweight and easy to wear, a charming pair of Antique gold earrings.

Unmarked, test as 9ct gold, late Victorian era.

Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear, light wear commensurate with age.
