A truly stunning antique Aquamarine drop pendant.
Art Nouveau era this beautiful triple drop pendant emphasises clean lines and geometric shapes combined with delicate yet rich hues and different cut gemstones.
The pendant has an integral pearl set bale leading to the top of the pendant, an openwork oval with a lovely blue oval cut Aquamarine set to the centre.
Suspended from the oval there are three separate knife edge drops suspending three further Aquamarine stones two round cut and a pear cut one to the centre.
It is crafted in rich 15ct yellow gold and set with creamy seed pearls.
A wonderfully designed and beautiful pendant.
Marks and era:
Edwardian era, c1900s, unmarked, electronically tests as 15ct gold.
Main aquamarine approx 0.42 ct with a total combined weight of over 1ct.
Condition:
Good used overall with signs of use and some light surface wear commensurate with age, the bale has a large amount of wear / thinning so this may want to be replaced or reinforced.
Approx measurements:
1.95" length with bale
0.65" width
2.85 grams weight
