An absolutely stunning antique, late Regency era, forget me not mourning ring.
Buttery rich 18ct yellow gold with decorative engraved stepped shoulders highlighted with a light sky blue enamel and a tapering bevelled band.
To the centre there is a forget me not flower made up from creamy seed pearl with a single diamond chip set to the flowers' centre, the flower has a mid profile from the finger.
To the verso there is a locket panel but no glazing.
Inner band is engraved S L F.
Unmarked, tests as 18ct gold.
English make c1820s
Condition:
Good condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, glazed panel not present, loss on both sides to the blue enamel.
