A stunning antique, late Edwardian era Suffragette necklace.
It is a long sautoir style necklace that can easily be wrapped 3 times and is made up of a fine yellow gold belcher link chain intercepted by alternating gemstone beads of Amethyst, Pearl and Peridot.
The three gemstones most commonly known to represent the three chosen colours of the movement; purple symbolizing dignity, green meaning hope and white demonstrating purity.
This beautiful necklace is delicate and light to wear with the added option of layering for more oomph.

Unmarked, tests as 15ct, the spring ring fastener is a later replacement and tests as 9ct,English make c1900s
