A nice antique mens sterling silver cased pocket watch.
Late 19th century Swiss make, Paragon trademark it is made by F Schwab of Buren an der Aar.
The case is struck with Swiss silver hallmarks of 3 bears which were used for watches made in Switzerland and imported to the UK made from 935 silver, which would be classed as fine silver, slightly higher in finesse than sterling.
It has a white enamel dial with black roman numerals and gold tone hands, there is a subsidiary second dial with black hands.
To the reverse there is a fancy cartouche surrounded by an engraved buckled belt design, no monograms so could be personalised.
Key wind watch, it does not come with the original key however we do supply it with a replacement key.
Condition is good overall, it has just been serviced and is running nicely, glass is free from cracks and is nice and clear, bow is lacking pin and a bit out of shape, fine hairline to the dial and some slight yellow spots only noticeable on close inspection.
A nice, good quality antique pocket watch and would make a lovely gift.
Approx 2" width of the watch, 3" height with bow and 0.5" depth.
