This stunning Victorian Tourmaline, diamond and enamel pendant is truly a beauty!
Pretty, feminine and perfect.
It is an unusual piece, beautifully crafted and both elegant and statement at the same time, it is dainty in size but big on design.
It is crafted in 18ct yellow gold, enamelled with white and black enamel with a quatrefoil design to the lower half, claw set to the centre with a beautiful pink tourmaline with four rose cut diamonds at each corner.
This is mounted from a bow shape design in the same enamelling with a single rose cut diamond to the centre, this is an articulated drop with lovely shimmer and sparkle from the rose cuts on movement.
Such a beautiful colour combination and mix of fine materials make this a highly desirable piece and it would be pride of place in any jewellery box.
It comes with a 9ct yellow gold bale so is ready to hang from your favourite antique gold chain.

It is unmarked, tests as 18ct gold with the diamonds set in silver and a 9ct gold bale, Victorian era, c1870s

Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, some wear and fade to the enamel, light nibbles to facet edges
